Sometimes I go through the internet looking for the inspiration to my own photos. During today's "research" I came across the outstanding work of Roman Booteen, the Russian artist who carves the old coins.

Czasami przeglądam internet w poszukiwaniu inspiracji dla zdjęć, które sam robię. Podczas dzisiejszych "poszukiwań" natknąłem się na wspaniałe prace Romana Booteena, rosyjskiego artysty rzeźbiącego stare monety.

This way I also found out that there is a special term for this kind of art called hobo nickel. I never heard of it before, but I found it just amazing. Just look at the few pictures of Roman's work that I choose for an example.
